Mr.Jones orphanage,dessert cafe

22 February 2013

It's time for another Bangkok trip blog post. You know what, I'm totally in love with this country, wish that i could stay there forever. HAHAHAHAHAHA. *i am serious*
Visited Siam Center for the first time, missed it last time when i visited Bangkok. It's located right opposite of Siam paragon. Just walking distance from Siam Paragon to Siam Center. Siam Centre is definitely worth a visit for anyone who wants to experience Thai fashion or at the very least is a great place to eat and escape the heat of the busy Bangkok streets.

As a tourist, taking picture at the entrance is a MUST! hahahahaha :D
Love all the interior decorations. It is so high-end, full with designer shops.
So so much different with our malls in Malaysia.

and there we found this, Mr Jones' Orphanage. It is a dessert cafe which is located in Siam Center. Mr Jones piles tasty cakes, cookies and milkshakes high at his cosy orphanage-inspired café decorated with swinging teddy bears and plenty of Lego to play with. Don't miss this if you are a dessert lover.
Although there are sandwiches and savoury snacks on the menu, the main reason to come here is for the cake, and there is enough this to satisfy any kind of sweet tooth, whether you fancy a grown-up semolina, pistachio and honey cake or a scone with jam, or perhaps even my childhood dream cake, a triple chocolate M&M Kitkat cake with chocolate mousse filling. The list doesn’t stop there; they serve cookies, brownies, red velvet cake and a large chocolate and cream cake that looks like an Oreo.
Everything looks beautiful about this cafe. With plenty of cake shops in Bangkok, this stands out not only for the quirky decor, but also the quality and variety of sweet treats on offer.
Love the environment, it is all decorated with fluffy teddy bears, vintage prints and toys, the customers will feel like stepping into a whimsical world of childhood fantasies. Very attractive from the outside.

Soft toys were everywhere! Remind me of my childhood. Taking picture with toys is a MUST :P

If you want to take the child-inspired experience to the next level you can order Mr Jones’ flavoured milk, which comes in tiny bottles with straws and is flavoured with vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. With plenty of milkshakes, teas and coffees to chose from, it is very easy to pair your drink with your dessert.
Oreo cake (110baht per slide),The first bite of my Oreo Cake was a mix of chocolate succulence and super duper sweetness. Forgot what's the other two flavor. *forgive me* LOL!
~All the cake is served with toys~
Remember this? hehehehehehe :D
Mr.Jones Orphanage is really a nice and comfortable place to hangout.
Will visit their first branch when i visit Bangkok again this year :)
